This another Opie that I have made. I created this one to see if I could remember how to create an Opie without the instruction sheet in front of me. I chose to use this image of Robert Downey Jr as IronMan as i thought it would be more challenging than the image I used of myself for my first attempt.

Opie XD

This is a photoshopped version of myself in the style of Julian Opie art. to do this I just loaded a photo of myself into photoshop. To make it in the Opie style I had to make separate layers for each party of the photo, for example a layer for my hair, one layer for my shirt and another layer for my jacket and also a separate layer for my facial features. It was a very easy and enjoyable process turning myself into an Opie character but it have to admit it was quite hard to draw straight lines with a computer mouse.

Final Cut

So far in the A2 Advanced productions I have learned how to open final cut, how to import files to use in final cut, cropping the clips, how to add effects to the clips and how to use all the functions of the timeline.

The timeline had many different functions around it, for example some of these functions were being able to zoom in on clips in different ways, being able to to show the waveforms of audio files. We also learned how to mark in and out on the clip view and this was a quick way of cutting the part of the clip you wanted out and then insert it into the sequence. There was also a razor tool that was used to also cut part of the clips out but this was used in the timeline.
